This Sunday , July 25th, is our monthly Sunday of ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT from 12 noon to 5 p.m. We encourage you to spend some quiet time of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament to pray for the welfare of our Country, as well as your personal intentions of praise, adoration, thanksgiving, petitions, and reparation for the sins of mankind.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION REGISTRATION
You may register your child(ren) for the 2010-2011 Religious Education year on the Cathedral website anytime between now and September 6 or in person, in the vestibule after the morning Masses on Sunday, August 29th. Any baptized Catholic child (grade 1st -8th) who is not enrolled in a Catholic school should attend religious education classes. THEOLOGY OF THE BODY
Join us Monday, July 26th from 7:00-9:00 p.m.in St. Albert's Hall, Room #303 for a night of reflections and discussion about the Gospel of Life, one of JPII's most important encyclicals. We will be summarizing and discussing some of the final chapters of his lectures this coming Monday. We will also have info about plans to begin reading a new book.

CENTERING PRAYER ANNUAL EVENT
Centering Prayer Annual Event, 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m., Holy Family Catholic Church, 9100 Crockett Rd., Brentwood. You are invited to attend the Annual Gathering of Contemplative Outreach of Middle Tennessee. We welcome those with an established Centering Prayer practice and those new to Centering Prayer. The event is designed to accommodate all levels. The 2010 format will include breakout sessions: Introduction to Centering, Prayer Centering Prayer as an 11th Step Practice, The Welcoming Prayer, Lectio Divina, and The Christian Contemplative Journey. NEW DIVORCECARE SESSION STARTING
Are you or someone you know hurting due to the pain that comes with the breakup of a marriage? You don't have to go through it alone. Catholic Charities Flood Relief Family Resource Center – a United Way “Restore the Dream” Center – now offers case management services, as well as material (household goods) assistance. The Center, located at 7632 Highway 70 South in Bellevue (I-40 West exit 196), is behind the Baptist Bellevue Medical Center on the back side of Bellevue Center mall. ~ The Center needs all types of household furniture, including dining tables & chairs, sofas and easy chairs, bed frames, dressers, night stands, coffee tables, and end tables. ~ Case management and household goods are provided to flood survivors at no charge. Please join us in welcoming Mr. David R. Carey as principal of St. Pius X Classical Academy in Nashville. Mr. Carey is presently an adjunct instructor and student teacher supervisor at Middle Tennessee State University. Prior to relocating to Tennessee to be closer to his family in 2007, Mr. Carey served as an elementary school principal in Illinois for 17 years and an elementary school teacher for 14 years. He is trained in the Reading Recovery program and received the Outstanding Graduate Alumni Award in 2009 from Eastern Illinois University. He is a member of St. Ignatius Church in Antioch, TN.

Help the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) honor young social justice leaders by submitting a nomination for the 2010 Cardinal Bernardin New Leadership Award, an annual award for Catholic young adults leading efforts to address the root causes of problems in their local communities.
